1st Litter

Belle has now given birth to 4 super pups. 2 males and 2 females. 1 Yellow female the other 3 are black. All pups are doing well and I am trying to decide on what to hold back. Probably 2 if not initially 3 from the 4 pups.
Will post later what I decide to keep and how the pups progress.

Introduction

Hi,
this is my first post and first blog so don't expect much. I live near Lurgan in county Armagh northern Ireland. I have kept dogs of various breeds for almost 30yrs and can hardly remember a time we didn't have a dog around the house. Recently we bought a beautiful working line labrador called Belle. She has a super temperment and is from excellent working lines. I was so amazed by her drive and level of training I was immediatly hooked as I love the training side of keeping dogs and this was a totally new challange. We hope to breed Belle shortly and I will then look at keeping a pup for myself which I can train and hopefully compete with in field trials.
